3.5 inch SATA HDD (SATA I / II / 3.0 / 1.5 Gbps / 3.0 Gbps / 6 Gbps)
This product is for SATA HDD only. HDD with PATA (IDE) specification can not be connected.
This product supports 6 Gbps, but because the interface side is USB 3.0 / eSATA, the transfer speed is the upper limit of each host interface.
We are checking the operation with HDD up to 4TB (as of August 2012)
Please contact the support center for the latest information on compatible HDD.
Windows XP can not handle HDDs larger than 2 TB due to OS limitations.
When using HDD with capacity of 4 TB or more with eSATA connection, eSATA host must be compatible with HDD with capacity of 4 TB or more.
When taking in and out, the HDD may have fine scratches. Please acknowledge it beforehand, thank you for your use.
